A message from our Founder & President:

Hi — I’m Samantha “Sam” Healy, founder of Delphoria ® Systems, LLC and its subsidiary companies.

Hailing from DC and now located in Philly, I come from a hardworking Irish Catholic family of six. I grew up around folks who show up with integrity, do work diligently, and prioritize helping others over personal gain. That’s shaped how we operate our company: be useful, be fair, and tell the truth, even when it’s inconvenient or surprising.

I’ve always been drawn to data—how it’s created, how it moves, how it tells a story (and how easily it can get misread when systems or incentives are off).

After I passed the Maryland bar, I started my career in the eDiscovery vendor world in Charlotte, NC as a project manager. I loved the work, pace and constant requirement to keep-up with innovation. I excelled quickly—at a rate that led to my nomination to Charlotte’s 30 Under 30, election to a WiE chapter executive position, and my eventual recruitment to run Apple Legal Operation’s engineering efforts in Cupertino.

After I got rid of my law school loans and returned to the east coast to be closer to family, I supported modernization work in the Department of Justice’s Civil arena and later worked in an AmLaw 50 firm negotiating vendor contracts and designing workflows for internationally newsworthy matters.

This inside-out view of the industry has taught me what works (and how), what breaks under pressure (and why), and what risks are hiding around the corner (waiting to blow up your case and budget). It has also equipped me with a network of professionals who share my values, passion and expertise for Legal Technology, enabling me to create a low overhead consulting firm, bringing in resources as needed. Charging low hourly fees is my vehicle for using my talents and skills to contribute to the community in a positive manner and open access to justice to more people.

Delphoria exists because together we view legal technology as something that should empower people, not confuse them, dictate case strategy or bar certain parties from being able to take/defend legal action. Discovery support doesn’t have to be stressful, exorbitantly priced or overly complicated.
